Problems with PingPressFM 2.2.1
Since the release of PingPressFM 2.2.0 last week, over 500 copies of plugin have been downloaded. From that group only a handful of people are having problems. And most of those people can fix the problem by upgrading from PHP 4 to PHP 5. How does one know they need to upgrade? Well, if you see a blank screen when you visit the plugin's settings page: upgrade.
Let me segue way for a moment on the topic of PHP 5 with an important announcement: YOU SHOULD HAVE UPGRADED TO PHP 5 LAST YEAR. FUD aside, there is a better reason you should upgrade soon. December of last year, the developers of PHP 4 ceased their development of PHP 4 entirely. And this last August, they submitted the last security path to 4.4.9. If your host hasn't upgraded request them to do so. But if they haven't by now, I would seriously consider switching to a host that doesn't suck that much.
